2025 Wrapped
What a year 2025 was for Of Light & Letters! As I look back on the clients I got to work with, I am just overwhelmed with gratitude. As I shared on socials, I often share the images of a single day. The beautiful moments where everything comes together. What is not seen as clearly, and what I am most thankful for, are the relationships built behind the scenes. For months, if not years, I am working closely with my couples and creative partners. I say it all the time, but I am beyond blessed to work with some of the kindest, most thoughtful couples out there. I am thankful for the planners, photographers, floral designers, and other creatives who are co-creators in this process alongside me. There is so much trust required in this work, and it is not something I take lightly. Being an artist is vulnerable but I thank Jesus each and every day to spend my days serving in this way.
This year has been full of highlights. Listed below are just a glimpse at the headlines that served as milestones in this year.
Getting to work alongside some of my very favorite peers and colleagues in this industry, who are brimming with talent and expertise
Partnering with WIPA Boston on their Q1 meeting
Online features in Style Me Pretty and Carats & Cake
Our French cafe-inspired styled shoot from The Greenery getting a full print spread in New Hampshire Magazine’s Bride
A refreshed brand photoshoot
Expanding my day-of offerings with some fun new items
Looking at the numbers, there are some fun statistics that I pulled in a true wrapped fashion.
Our clients’ weddings spanned 5 different states, with the most popular being Massachusetts and Florida
Our first international wedding in Cabo San Lucas
Over 1500 envelopes stuffed, stamped, and mailed
Designing 3 sets of brand stationery for some talented photographers
While Of Light & Letters is technically a business of one, I genuinely would not be here alone. There are so many colleagues who encourage me, vendors who entertain my crazy ideas, and some very special couples who spend their days working with me. There aren’t enough words to share just how grateful I am for the community I’ve been blessed with.
To every single couple I had the joy of working with this year - thank you. People always ask me if I work with ‘bridezillas’ and I can confidently say no. Each of you are so kind, bring thoughtful ideas to the table, and are truly the heartbeat behind my work. Thank you for inspiring me!
My creative partners - especially planners! I have worked with a dream team this year. People who are experts in their craft and never shy away from a challenge. I love getting to be on your team.
My fellow calligraphers/stationers - I adore this little community we have. I could not be more grateful for such an encouraging and community-minded group of ladies. You are all powerhouses and I can’t believe we get to do this work together!
My vendors - those who carefully print each card, dye each strand of ribbon, and participate in the production process so that I can source quality materials.
My postal workers - Mike & Sandy are my most trustworthy sources, personally caring for each envelope and package in their hands. We would be nowhere without them!
My people - my husband, family, and friends. Shoutout to my small group for praying for me every Wednesday night and celebrating every win along the way. They say it takes a village and you all are mine.
In my personal life, this year was once again filled to the brim - in the best way! We attended six weddings this summer (yes, as guests), celebrated five years of marriage with a trip to Nantucket, and Steven started a new job. Our days continued to be filled with pilates, softball games, and hosting our small group. Still attending lots of concerts, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying each day.
Thank you all for making this possible, and for reading this far. I leave you with this encouragement. Cheers to 2026, my friends!
