A Tuscan Fete at La Casa Toscana
Elizabeth & Kenny were married at La Casa Toscana in Fort Myers in January of 2026. From the very beginning, I knew their love story was something special. The two met in high school and have spent many years together. They have the most beautiful community of friends and family around them, and these photos capture just how much those relationships surround them in love.
As we first started talking about design, the Italian and Tuscan influence of the venue was a major point of inspiration. Elizabeth shared her vision of the classic white and green vibe, with subtle accents of butter yellow through the florals and bridesmaid dresses.
For their suite, we mirrored a previous design of mine and tailored it to their wedding. The invitation was letterpress printed onto handmade paper in a rich mossy green to match the envelopes. We pulled in floral and striped borders, along with venue illustrations of both the house and gazebo at La Casa Toscana. Flourished calligraphy accents were pulled throughout the cards and it all tied together in a green satin ribbon. We made stamp selections that carried the mossy green and yellow accents through the daffodil stamp.
The ceremony was held under the iconic gazebo at La Casa Toscana, surrounded by the love of all their closest people. Elizabeth and her mom share such a beautiful relationship, which was honored by walking her down the aisle. Guests were greeted in the ceremony seats with programs and petals to toss in celebration of the newlyweds. Elizabeth’s dress was an absolute show stopper, bringing in intricate floral applique details. The draping on the gazebo was the perfect romantic touch to complement the florals by Nandi and her team. All of this created the perfect setting for their heartfelt ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye to be found!
Under the pergolas, the reception took place. The tables were set in gorgeous neutral tones, with the pops of yellow florals and the bold satin ribbons. Here, I hot foiled each guest’s name onto the ribbon in calligraphy. These were tied into bows around the menus at each place setting. Elizabeth & Kenny shared their first dance as the sun began to set, and the tables were filled with warm candlelight and conversation.
As the sun set, Elizabeth changed into her mini and the two got behind the DJ booth to get the party started. Guests danced the night away until their sparkler exit, where the two got into a vintage car and drove off into marriage together. Elizabeth & Kenny, it was a privilege to be a small part of your special day!
